Accenture's London headquarters - designed 2001

Áine’s key accomplishments were the successful execution of projects. These have stood the test of time, in particular the Accenture project; after 10 years very little has been changed by the client.
Ex-clients still ask after Áine to find out what she is currently working on. - Nicholas Alderson (former boss)

Project undertaken while employed at Alderson Design Consultants. The completed office provided executive functions, client engagement, flexible and responsive open plan workspace, early adoption of ABW (activity based working) as well as staff food and beverage offers. As an in-house team of four we designed the sketch scheme working together and then each took responsibility for one of the four floors. Mine was the executive floor and included the private dining suites, video conferencing rooms and the partner’s offices. (5575 m²/60,000 ft²)

During the time I lived and worked in London, I designed many and varied projects including the successful scheme for BTG, published in Interiors for Architects and Designers, June/July 1998. This job won the practice further work for BTG's sister company Torotrak Development on which I developed concept schemes. Also I designed the reception area of Barclays Asset Management's London office, which was short listed for a British Council of Offices design award. Devised and developed my own process for Client "sign-off" of finishes and furniture and was asked to write the Client Approvals and Recording section of Pringle Brandon's office manual.
